Hi and welcome to my New U Life review. Someone might have approached you with the opportunity that is the New U Life business. Or perhaps you came across it on social media.
May I first start by stating that I am not a consultant with New U Life and so I am not going to be asking you to whip out your credit card for your dream to success.
It’s good you are doing your research. With all the business opportunities floating around, it’s good to do due diligence and learn what is expected of you before committing yourself to any business.
This review is based on my own research and the aim is to help you make an independent decision on whether to join, stay on or bail out. The decision is entirely up to you.
So just what is the New U Life business opportunity? Is it a scam or legit? Can you make some serious money?
No doubt you want some things cleared. Well, let’s find out, shall we.
Company Name: New U Life
Costs: $59 yearly $149.99 monthly autoship
Owner: Alex Goldstein
I have reviewed several companies on this site but New U Life, is different in that unlike other Mlms that have a huge range of products., New U Life only has one product. The Somaderm HGH (Human Growth Hormone) Gel
It is one of the fastest growing Mlms in the industry, which is expected of a company that is so new.
It’s also a product that has a lot of controversy surrounding it. According to the New U Life product page Somaderm HGH Gel is the only FDA registered homeopathic growth hormone that is available without a prescription.
During my research, I was surprised to learn that the product might not be as effective as a lot of people would imagine.
Alex Goldstein founded the company in June of 2018 and distributes its products through a multi-level marketing business structure. He has been involved on the natural foods, vitamins, and performance supplements for a over 25 years.
At the base of your brain is a tiny pea sized pituitary gland that aids the body in preserving cells and body organs throughout a person’s life.
As we grow older and especially around mid life, the gland begins to produce less growth hormone, which is what leads to less bone mass and muscle deterioration.
Is there a way we can introduce the growth hormone artificially in order to bring back the energy of your youthful days
A lot of experts agree, that yes it can be done. This is usually done by qualified professionals and only for people who suffer age-related issues. As a healthy adult, there is little evidence that HGH will boost or reverse the aging process. Ageing is a natural process and there is no way one can go around that.
In fact it might be a good idea not to use growth hormones altogether if you are in perfectly good health.
They have an F rating with the Better Business Bureau. This might be because of their short time in business. As you might expect there are complaints from people who are dissatisfied with the products all the business.
New U Life is based out of Pleasant Hill, CA.
According to the New U Life website, HGH Somaderm contains 2 main ingredients.
- Glandula suprarenalis suis 6X

Note the disclaimer at the bottom
Most of the inactive ingredients can be found in other skin care formulations and work as conditioning (phenoxyethanol, sorbic acid), cleansing agents (sodium hydroxide) preservatives (phenoxyethanol, sorbic acid, potassium sorbate) etc.. so there is nothing new there.
How it works
The active ingredients are the ones that really help with boosting your growth hormones. Somatropin is the synthetic form of HGH.
Generally, homeopathy is treatment of disease by water (or sugar pills or another medium). The “natural substance”, whatever it is, is diluted again and again and again until no trace of the ingredient remains.
According to the New U Life website, you are meant to apply the gel in the thinly areas of your skin like under the armpits or behind our knees where veins are visible. This is to ensure that the hormones are quickly absorbed in your bloodstream.
What I found confusing is that there is no scientific evidence to prove how well it works. There are not FDA approved, just FDA certified.
According to Dr Ben, from Sports Resource, this is what he has to say:
If HGH in a homeopathic gel is supposed to be a “cure”, then you are assuming HGH is what’s also “causing” the “problem” in the first place.
According to the principles of homeopathy, a “homeopathic hgh” will be a remedy for “too much” HGH in your system and will work to decrease the hgh levels, rather than increasing it- the way vaccines work.
That coming from a doctor makes me wonder whether this product is as effective as they claim.
Like all good MLMs, there must be a compensation plan otherwise what would be the point? This is the bait that attracts distributors to join the business. It’s all about the commissions you make for sales and recruiting others to join you.
I will not go into much detail because things tend to get very complicated when you go into all the nitty gritty of compensation plans.
Let’s hear it from the experts. Please note that I am not endorsing this video. It’s only for presentation purposes.

Pros and cons
Normally, every business opportunity has the bright and dull side that everyone involved in has to come to terms with. That is what determines whether to remain in the game or call it a day.
I was an Amway distributor years ago, and I must say there are some highly successful consultants in the MLM industry. You can become successful in this business. That is the good news.
The bad news is you are most likely to fail. I know that can be interpreted as loser but the true fact is a very tiny portion of Mlm consultants make a decent income. Most people will just be hanging on the edge hoping to get that one downline who will catapult their business.
This is the recruiting business. Before you can find success, be sure to hit on every person you know or perhaps don’t with the opportunity. I am sure you can understand just how difficult that can be.
You never know who will catch bait, right?
The Mlm narrative.
There is an narrative that network marketing companies use and that is to pitch their products as magical or the next big thing. I am sure you if you sho around, you can find a similar range of high quality products in the market that are just as good if not better and most likely cheaper. Why should I choose one over the other?
The compensation plan of course. It’s the fuel that keeps the business going.
People now use Social media as a way of reaching out to potential recruits.
It can be more effective than reaching out to your traditional Unfortunately, most people go about it by spamming social media accounts to promote their business.
It’s not really a long term way of building a business. It’s also very intrusive.
Unsolicited marketing info coming on your timeline especially from people you may know is just plain irritating.
People fail in this form of business because it is by no means easy as they are led to believe. Less than 1% of all the people who join multi-level marketing businesses succeed. Don’t just take my word for it, do your research.
Mary Kay once described the business as filling your bathtub with the sinkhole open. Most people will be gone once they realize just how difficult the business is. The fall out rate is massive.
You may be asking, so how come this companies seem to turn out such huge profits? Good question.
Most of them have very low overheads. They don’t need to advertise. That is why they pay you a cut from sales and recruiting. At the very bottom of it, you will be doing all the donkey work for them.
The whole model of the multi-level marketing business is also shrouded in a lot of misconceptions and controversy. I can understand why. You are not really giving people an opportunity to make money. It’s more like reaping the benefits out of their hard work.
The period I was in multi level marketing, one thing that our uplines insisted was to never tell your prospective recruits what they are getting into. Keep them in the dark until you are able to get them to a meeting or party. The whole idea was for them to see the big picture.
I don’t know about you, but I think that is a very sleazy way of doing business. If you are just joining the New U Life business, just remember that you are in for the ride of your life. Good luck!
I would say New U Life seems like an okay company. Not out of these world but okay.
It’s a great business for those who have the energy for recruiting.
The one thing that leaves me totally in the dark about the business, is the product. There is not much info on it within the website.
New U Life is not the only company that sells growth hormones. There are other similar products in the market like Norditropin which is much cheaper.
Again as I mentioned, I don’t see the logic behind taking growth hormones if you don’t need them. People grow old and the best way to maintain a healthy lifestyle in your old age is by ensuring you have a good well balanced diet and keeping yourself fit. There is no way you will have the vitality of your youth at the age of 70, no matter how enticing that may sounds.
That being said, New U Life is not a pyramid scheme like some people would claim. With pyramid schemes, the last guy always emerges on the other side with nothing.
Opinion is always divided as to whether this sort of businesses are scams or not. I suppose it all comes down to who is making money and who is not. Most people who don’t make it will be crying foul while those who succeed will be accusing the losers of lacking the patience to grow the business.
As I mentioned, I have been involved in network marketing before and I know how the game plays out. Network marketing by its very nature is a legit way of doing business and people succeed big time in it. In fact there are millionaires in the industry.
So why did I leave if there is such huge potential.
Because it is all about recruiting. Seldom do people even talk about the products. That’s because no one makes money just by selling products. Are you ready to start dragging your friends, colleagues and relatives to those hyped up meetings. If you are, well, good luck again.
Can you build a business without recruiting
Many people who become successful online marketers probably have been through some sort of multi level marketing. In the years I have been in the marketing industry I have come to appreciate the fact that the only way you can make money selling products is by having your own website.
In fact you don’t even need to own the products to earn commissions with a website. And neither do you need to spend money to own one. This website generates me a consistent income.
Why run around chasing after people to join your opportunity and yet you can reach the billions of people who are connected on the internet today.
If you belong to the 99…% plus number of the people trying desperately to make money recruiting people to their business, how about you check out how I make money online without having to recruit.
MLMs are a waste of time. As I mentioned, you are more likely bound to fail than to succeed. That is just the reality of it. People will tell you not to listen to naysayers like me, but you really need to ask yourself whether you stand a chance.
