What is The AZ Code About | Big Fat Scam!

The AZ Code homepageYou might have heard of the the AZ code (Amazon code) and probably want to find out whether its worth investing in or avoiding it totally. Welcome to my review and let’s find out if this program is the real deal or not.

We live at a time when sometimes it’s really hard to tell a legit business opportunity from a scam. That is what the internet of everything comes with. The last thing you want is to be lured by a program that promises the good life only for you to end up with zero.

Trust me. That happens a lot.

So just what is the The AZ Code ? Is it a scam or legit? Can you make some serious money?

No doubt you want some things cleared. Well, let’s find out, shall we?

Company Name: The AZ Code

Website: The AZ Code

Owner: Andrew Peterson (Maybe!)

Cost: $37 (downsell $17)

Right out of the gate, I will let you know what this is. It’s a scam.

If you are promoting it and making money, you may want to call me the scammer. But, before you do that, hear me out.

The AZ code is an online program that supposedly teaches you how to become a successful Amazon Associate. The guy in the intro video, who I can’t verify whether it’s the real Andrew Peterson talks about how to take a slice of Jeff Bezos billions by learning how to do affiliate marketing promoting Amazon products.

All nice and dandy, but easier said than done. I hope Amazon has taken note of these program because, they are a decent company. Promoting their products is not done through done for you systems. I was an Amazon Associate once. You cannot make $31 000 dollars in 3 weeks with their Associate program. Commissions on Amazon range from 1 to 10%. You would have to sell promote tens of thousands of products for you to make that kind of money.

Is it possible?

Absolutely. That is what affiliate marketing is all about. If you are newbie in online marketing, affiliate marketing is the process where you get paid a commission when people purchase a product based on your recommendation. This would usually be through your website, social media or YouTube channel.

Why the AZ code doesn’t make sense is because that process cannot be automated. Buyers are real people reading real reviews. Unless, of course you are selling to robots.

Amazon Associates and Amazon Sellers

The Az code developers seem to have lost the plot with their own program. Once you join in after paying your $37, you are taken to a portal that teaches you how to sell products on Amazon.

It’s actually a Pdf, which you can download detailing the following

  • Package design
  • Connecting with Suppliers
  • Private labeling terminology
  • Minimum viable product

If you own a product and want to sell it on Amazon, these are some of the skills you might require. Not all, but some. They have nothing to do with affiliate marketing. Affiliate marketers are the ones who will be helping you sell the product. The program does not teach you what it claims to.

False testimonials

I have reviewed many of these sort of products. The one thing that I find quite amusing is how you can hire some dude to come up with a cock and bull story about how he is making a lot of money with your system.

The guy giving the testimonial in the intro video goes by the name Stan Hustard. He is like a gun for hire. He will do whatever you ask him to for a small price. Videowise. I am sure the lady is also hired even though I didn’t bother to check.

A lot of these scammy sort of businesses do that these days. Don’t you think, its deceitful and shows a total lack of integrity?

Fake bank accounts statements.

This one is pretty obvious. Why would you show the 4 billion people connected on the internet your bank account details or how much you are making. Some people might get funny ideas and decide to come for some of it.  That is such a cheap shot, Andrew Peterson.

Can you make money with the AZ code?

Like many other products on Clickbank and other places like JVzoo, yes, you can make money because you get paid a commission when people buy the product through your affiliate link. That is the reason why you get so many positive reviews of products like these.

The minute you sign in, then you begin to get a load of pop ups asking you to buy this and that upgrade to make more money. Its like filling your bathtub with the sink hole open. You can make some money but for how long? The one guy is who is probably laughing all the way to the bank is Andrew Peterson. When this thing finally fizzles out, he will be gone. So will be your money. Check out what happened to companies like Digital Altitude

The question I got to ask is, why would you go out of your way to promote a product that has scam written all over it. Just for the money? Surely there has to be a better way.

Building an online business the right way.

The reason why done for you systems don’t work is because all businesses online or otherwise depend on traffic to thrive. Traffic simply means visitors to your store or in the case of online businesses, website.

You can’t start a cafe and hire someone else to do all the work for you. You have to put in some work. The harder you work, the more visitors you get and therefore, the more profits you are likely to make. There are only 3 main ways you can generate traffic to your website.

  1. Paid traffic is pretty self explanatory. You pay to get visitors to your site. It’s sort of like advertising on TV or radio. Run the ad, the masses listen or watch it and hopefully if the ad is a success, you will have folks tripping over each other hoping to catch the wave. Bing ads is commonly used as a paid traffic marketing tool.

  2. Social media.

Social media is complicated. With social media, you need to understand who your target audience is. Don’t spam your buddies with your opportunity. It wont look good on you. If you want to reach a wider audience, you might have to invest deeper in your pocket. Like in Facebook ads.

Generally, conversion with Facebook on the make money online niche is meager. You might want to check out Pinterest as a social media business focussed platform. I has a better conversion rate since its algorithm works like a mini search engine.

  3. SEO (Search engine optimisation)

This what is referred to as organic traffic. Google and other search engines like Bing and Yahoo love content. Not just content but good high quality content that is unique and offers value to the reader. The content must also target low competition keywords. Click here to learn more about keywords. Learn how to give search engines what they love and they will heavily reward you for your efforts.

No. 3 is of course what I would urge you to go for. The great thing about SEO is that it doesn’t cost you a dime to grow your traffic. But, you will have to do some serious heavy lifting before you can make money.

Any done for you system is in the business of making money for itself and you will never get far with that sort of training.

It’s pretty obvious. The AZ code is a big fat scam. The things they are telling you NOT to do are EXACTLY what you need to do if you are hoping to succeed in your online business. I can see how programs like this lure innocent people to join them. If you have never had any experience with online marketing, an opportunity like these can be quite tempting.

If you have some experience then don’t look for a quick easy way out. Believe me, I have been down that route. I have lost money a couple of times on such programs.

Building a successful online biz is not easy but then again, it’s not as complicated as you would imagine. There are technical aspects of any business, that one has to familiarize themselves with and that is no exception with online businesses.

Once you get that part right, the rest is easy.  Anyone who tells you to plug into their automated system to make money is probably trying to rip you off.

You can never own anything that is done for. If Andrew Peterson decided to close shop tomorrow, he will go with everything you have worked so hard for. Here is the deal. It does take a learning curve to get there. Learning is a process, not an event.

For the sake of your solopreneur journey, I hope you will never stop learning. If there is one lesson you need to learn today, is keep away from the AZ code. It’s nothing but hot air.

  1. Hey there! Thanks for writing this detailed review about AZ code. I was just looking at it the other day and wondering if I could really make good money online with it. I’m glad I came across your review before I wasted my time on it since I wouldn’t be making much and potentially wouldn’t even be able to withdraw the money I may make. Do you know of any other sites that might help me make decent money online?

    • Hi mate. The AZ code is a complete waste of time. Check out Wealthy Affiliate. This is a program that comes with a comprehensive training platform that takes you through a step by step process into building your online biz. The great thing about it is it has a 1.5 million  community members who all share their knowledge with newcomers.

I have been with them for the last 3 years and I have no regrets. The knowledge and skills I have learned within the program are priceless. You can also test drive it for free and see whether its something you may want to go with

      Thanks for dropping by.

  2. Great post and good info.

What I can say about Amazon is that it is possible to make money, but you need a lot of commissions, the majority is like 8 percent, so you indeed need to sell lots of stuff before you can even reach the 1000$ mark.

Programs like this are a big scam, you pay for them and get nothing in return.

So it is really nice you review those and prevent people for making a bad choice.

    Thanks for sharing it.

    • Hi Emmanuel. Amazon being such a great business pays very little in terms of commissions to affiliates. If you have massive volumes of traffic, then one can generate a fair bit of income. I prefer to promote digital products because the commissions are much higher. However it’s good to only promote products based on your passion. Those who find success in the online space are those who go into niches that they love.

Great catching up with you mate

  3. I think that you have done a great job reviewing this program. I heard about AZ Code and I was sceptical from the start. I am also Amazon Associate and it is not easy at all to earn some decent money without having great audience that converts. Thank you for revealing this scam, people often run for shiny objects without thinking on consequences.

    • Indeed Daniel. Unfortunately, people will often go for programs like this because they simply don’t know any better. Without traffic, there can be no business. That is a lesson everyone needs to learn. Running an online business takes a lot of dedication and patience and yes, it’s okay to chase shiny objects than to be stuck in what doesn’t work. Sometimes that is how we learn. By making mistakes and starting all over again.

      Thanks for dropping in.
