One common feature I see with most online programs that are involved in the make money online niche is the emphasis on showing you the good life before letting you know what it will take to get you there. It is like putting the cart before the horse. What people are looking for is a solution to a problem and not money par se.

The 30 day success club goes a little overboard with their intro video. Right from the word go you are shown 2 bank accounts. One with $3.97 and another $4 678 983. Same account number under the name of Kevin Davis. Nobody in their right minds shows their bank account to the world. But who says that, that is a real bank account?

bank account screenshots

Then there is of course the usual luxurious homes and cars which are another hallmark of products like this.

You even have a guy getting into a bathtub full of money! Some of the tricks that this people employ in order to promote their opportunity are just ridiculous.

What follows are a series of testimonials, obviously done by paid actors from Fiverr.com  and an endless story of a military widow, who went from hero to zero to hero again. You don’t get to see her face throughout the whole video. Its obviously a cock and bull story.

Whenever, I do my reviews I always try to find who the owners behind the programs are. I found nothing with 30 Day Success Club. If you are creating an opportunity that will change people’s lives, why hind behind the curtain?

How it works

The 30 Day success Club is a Clickbank product that apparently teaches you how promote products through affiliate marketing.

Affiliate marketing is great to way to make money online and in fact, it can be quite lucrative, but only if done right.

Once you sign in after paying the the $37, you are taken to the members area. You can watch the step by step video to learn the process of setting up your site.

Here is the process

  • Create a domain  name for your site. These becomes your URL
  • Enter you ClickBank Id. These tracks all your sales so as to earn commissions
  • Click on Build a site live
  • Enter a name for your site then go to SEO settings
  • Enter your SEO keyword and description and you are done

What you really have here is a single page with links to different products within different niches. When visitors come to your page and buy any of those products you earn a commission.

All nice and dandy, but easier said than done. The 30 day success club does not teach you how to market your site in order to attract traffic. Yes, they do ask you to share your link within social media, but I can tell you, unless you are spamming your buddies on social media, you are not going to get very far with that.

Pros and cons

Every business opportunity has a the good and bad site of it and its important to weigh both sides as an online marketer in order to determine whether to join, stay on or call it a day.

The page you are promoting on your website cannot be edited. It means any visitor who comes to your site will be seeing the same page, and so if they are looking for particular info they will have to go through the entire page to find it. Every other affiliate within the program has a similar page so you are all competing to promote the same thing.

There are also plenty of upsells as you would expect. You have to pay another $37 for hitmaps. Hitmaps simply keep track of your analytics, so that you are able to tell where your traffic is coming from. Which is a pretty worthless activity because you will not be getting much traffic and even if you do, why pay for it? Google analytics is free.

You also need to pay another $47 for their email service. The upsells add up all the way to $197.

Since you technically don’t own your website, it means if the owners of the program decided to close shop tomorrow they will disappear with your all your info. That is how people end up receiving unsolicited emails from companies they have never associated with. Email lists can be sold for money.

This being a Clickbank product, you can always get a refund if you are not happy with it. Clickbank products usually come with a 60 day money guarantee. However if you purchase any upsells you are not going to be getting a refund on those.

Can you make some money with this program?

Absolutely, but only if you have some experience in online marketing. If you keep searching you will see a lot of positive reviews on programs like this. That is because everyone is trying to earn a commission through their affiliate link. You are not going to be making millions, however. Definitely not in 30 days.

Overall opinion

thumbs downIs the 30 Day Success Club a scam?

Not quite, since you have an opportunity to get back your money if you are not happy with it.

Would I recommend it. Absolutely not? I don’t see any value within the program. You can’t learn affiliate marketing by getting things done for you or spamming your link all over the internet.

The 30 Day Success Club reminds me of another program that I reviewed on this site called The Millionaire Society. These sort of programs are nothing but hot air.

I can see how programs like this lure innocent people to join them. If you have never had any experience with online marketing, an opportunity like these can be quite tempting.

The reason why done for you systems don’t work is because all businesses online or otherwise depend on traffic to thrive. Traffic simply means visitors to your store or in the case of online businesses, website.

You can’t start a cafe and hire someone else to do all the work for you. You have to put in some work. The harder you work, the more visitors you get and therefore, the more profits you are likely to make. There are only 3 main ways you can generate traffic to your website.

  1. Paid traffic is pretty self explanatory. You pay to get visitors to your site. It’s sort of like advertising on TV or radio. Run the ad, the masses listen or watch it and hopefully if the ad is a success, you will have folks tripping over each other hoping to catch the wave. Bing ads is commonly used as a paid traffic marketing tool.

  2. Social media.

Social media is complicated. With social media, you need to understand who your target audience is. Don’t spam your buddies with your opportunity. It wont look good on you. If you want to reach a wider audience, you might have to invest deeper in your pocket. Like in Facebook ads.

Typically, conversions with Facebook on the make money online niche is meager. You might want to check out Pinterest as a social media business focussed platform. It has a better conversion rate since its algorithm works like a mini search engine.

  3. SEO (Search engine optimisation)

This what is referred to as organic traffic. Google and other search engines like Bing and Yahoo love content. Not just content but good high quality content that is unique and offers value to the reader. The content must also target low competition keywords for it to stand a good chance of ranking high in search results. Learn more about keywords. Give search engines what they love and they will heavily reward you for your efforts.

No. 3 is of course what I would urge you to go for, if you are hoping to succeed in internet marketing. The great thing about SEO is that it doesn’t cost you a dime to grow your traffic. But, you will have to do some serious heavy lifting before you can make money. You cannot attract organic traffic to your site with a single keyword. You need tonnes of them.

Any done for you system is in the business of making money for itself and you will never get far with that sort of training. Anyone who tells you to plug into their automated system to make money is probably trying to rip you off.

If you have some experience then don’t look for a quick easy way out. Believe me, I have been down that route. I have lost money a couple of times on such programs.

Building a successful online biz is not easy but then again, it’s not as complicated as a lot of people imagine. There are technical aspects of any business, that one has to familiarize themselves with and that is no exception with online businesses.

Once you get that part right, the rest is easy.

Here is the deal. You can never own anything that is done for you. It does take a learning curve to to succeed as an online marketer. Learning is a process, not an event.

For the sake of your solopreneur journey, I hope you will never stop learning. If there is one lesson you need to learn today, is keep away from 30 Day success Club.

  1. I like that you did an review about this program because so many people fall to this “shiny objects”. I heard about 30 Day Success but I was skeptical from the start. I only like that it has a refund as people should take their money back when they see that this is not a machine for making money.

    • Hi Daniel. Yes, Clickbank offers a 60 day refund on all it products. I chased a few of those shinny objects back in the day and all ended doing is losing money. It took me a while before I found something that actually works. Glad you did not dive right in with this weird program. There is a chance you can make some money but the upsells will probably overwhelm you. Hope you have found a better way to make money. Let me know if you need help with anything. I will be happy to be of assistance.

Best of wishes in your endeavours and thanks for chiming in.

  2. Hi, Leonard. Thanks for posting your article and for the heads up on the 30-Day Success Club. I think you’re absolutely right–this isn’t exactly a scam but something to avoid, at all costs, starting with the $37.00 they are asking for, as well as the upsells. The latter is the thing that annoys me the most about offers like this; it’s not exactly a bait and switch, but something real close to it, where you can sort of function at the base level, but if you want to actually be successful, you are going to need the upgrade, unless you want to just keep floundering. Thanks again for the post. Best of success, in the future.

    • Hi Kevin. Clickbank used to be a great place to promote affiliate products but over the years, they don’t seem to care who comes through the doors with a product. Most people who buy these products have no idea what they are promoting or perhaps don’t quite understand the sort of business they are involved in.

Its okay to make mistakes. I have had a fair share of mine back in the day. I had to,learn the hard way that you need to educate your self before you can start looking at the money side of your biz op. There is great potential in affiliate marketing but as you said a lot of these programs tend to break the training into pieces so that you are always paying for more to learn more.

Truth is you don’t need to pay thousands of dollars to become successful in the business. In fact, I believe one should learn as much as they can without spending money and only pay when you feel its time to scale up.

Best of wishes to you too in your endeavours and thanks for dropping in.

  3. Hi Leonard.

Thanks for the article and for taking the time to research the 30 Day Success Club. There are so many of those “Do no work and get rich instantly” promises out on the internet that it’s hard to figure out which, if any of them are legit. Having started looking into affiliate marketing I can see now that nothing comes fast or easy if you’re building a legitimate, sustainable online business.

    • Hi David. Yes indeed. The online marketing work can be pretty confusing for a beginner. It’s these sort of quick fix business models that give the whole industry a bad rep.  All these push button get rich overnight programs seem to be all over the place these days. The fundamental principles of any business are founded on hard work and total dedication to the course.

I have been in the business for the last 3 years now and what I have seen sometimes leaves me shocked. I don’t understand how anyone would believe that a done for system will ever yield any positive outcome. If I had a secret button that I could press and money comes poring out of nowhere, why would I share it with anyone?

Glad you are looking into affiliate marketing. It’s a great way to make money and yes, put in the effort, learn consistently and results will follow you.

      Thank you for dropping in.
