What is Perfectly Posh?
The world of multi-level marketing if full of companies selling beauty care products. I mean, everyone wants to feel young and beautiful, so there is a huge market out there for cosmetics. The beauty industry is currently valued at $532 billion and it keeps growing by the day.
Perfectly Posh was started in October of 2011 by Ann Dalton & Andrew McBride and they sell and distribute pampering beauty products such as body lotions, bath salts, face scrubs, etc through independent consultants. They also have a men’s product range.
They describe themselves as the pampering business. It’s all about giving yourself the best.
Their claim to fame is that all their products are made with natural ingredients and so they are safe to use. As we shall find out, that might be saying too much because some people are of a different opinion.
They are based out of Salt Lake Cty, Utah.
Perfectly Posh products
Perfectly Posh has an impressive collection of products on their catalog. They come in different categories that you can choose from. They include;
- Hands & Feet
- Face & Lip
The products come as face masks, hair care items, body mud, scrubbies, skink sticks, and much, much more. Most products are priced ranging between $5 to $25. They do however have a range of essential oils going around the $100 mark.
How does Perfectly Posh work
Getting started with Perfectly Posh will require you to but a starter kit which goes for $30. This kit comes with business tools and information on how to about building your business.
To get rolling you will have to invest in the $99 kit which comes with products and business tools. There is also a $10 monthly fee for your website except for your first month of hosting.
Distributors can expect to earn commissions from 20% on up to 31% for each sale they make.
Basically, there are two main ways one can generate an income with ASEA.
- Earn commissions through retail product sales.
- Earn commissions when those who join under you and recruit other new members.
That is just how most MLMs work. Number 2 is where the real money lies. If you can build a large team below you, you can expect to start making some good income. To grow your business you will need to host home parties, online parties, get people to visit your own website, or just by word of mouth?

Can you make money with Perfectly Posh?
For someone with the right skillset and most importantly mindset, I think this opportunity could work well for you.
However, this is multi-level marketing, and most people rate simply not cut out for it. People don’t like being sold stuff and most people just suck at recruiting. It’s simply not as easy as a lot of people are led to believe.
Perfectly Posh seems to genuinely care about the people who work to produce the ingredients that use for their products. They have partnered with Global Shea Alliance and are working to provide better conditions for African women across the Savanna who make their shea butter.
They have also partnered with Deserve It Foundation, and have helped raise over $40,000 for infant formula to feed children in Guatemala whose families work to provide their palm oil.
Are You Looking For a Way to Earn Passive Income
Without Having to Recruit?
One downside to this company is the number of complaints that are online regarding the products, orders, shipping, and refunds.
It’s so bad that the Better Business Bureau gives them an F rating. There 12 complaints in but only 2 have been closed.
The worst was from this lady who said the product backfired on her children and the equally rude response she got fro customer service.
Surely, products that are all-natural should not be causing skin reactions.
One other thing worth mentioning is that this is a highly competitive industry. You will be competing with giants like Avon and Nu-Skin who have a well-established market base.
Is Perfectly Posh a Scam?
A lot of people are skeptical about joining MLMs due to the recruiting nature of the business. As long as a company has a product or service behind it, you cannot brand it a scam.
Scams, particularly pyramid schemes, tend to take money out of your pocket using deceptive means. In most cases, they sell you an endless story of investing your money in nothing to grow your money. We all know that money does not grow on trees.
The part that gives me goosebumps is the products. The products might not be as good since a lot of people have expressed concern over skin reactions. You don’t want to put in your body something that will cause you harm.
To most, it’s not a very viable option to grow a business.
I was a former network marketer and aside from being a real pain to everyone I approached to join my business I spent a lot of money and never got to recruit even one person.
I might have approached over 300 people. Some of them were clearly not happy about it.
Recruiting is very intrusive. Most people will feel like you are taking advantage of the relationship you have with them
I had to face the facts. Was I really building a business or was I just helping someone else make their money?
Truth be told you are not really running a business. The people running the business are the people whose products or services you are selling. They dictate what you sell, price, and what you make for it. If you owned the business, you would have a say in that.
Most stylists sell the products through parties. When you look at what it entails to host your friends, drive for appointments, attend meetings, etc you will agree that it doesn’t tally with what you will be making. All that talk about the business is easy and how anyone can do it is nothing but hot air.
The fact is, most people suck at selling.
According to this article on Wikipedia, over 99% of people who join MLM companies lose money. That is a big number.
If you are just joining Perfectly Posh or thinking of joining ask yourself whether you really stand a chance at success. I hate to burst your bubble but the odds are heavily against you.
Are there better alternatives to Perfectly Posh?
I would say one of the most effective and long term ways to make money way you can make money selling products or services is through your own website.
You don’t even need to own the products to earn commissions with a website.
Neither do you need to recruit people to your business. People need to come to you. how about you check out how I make money online without having to recruit.
No need to run around chasing after people to join your opportunity. There are billions of people connected on the internet today. You just need to put yourself in front of that audience.
This review is by no means meant to discourage you from joining or staying on with Perfectly Posh. If you feel you have what it takes then, by all means, go for it. If you don’t, just remember to keep your options open.
