Hi and welcome to my Jordan Essentials review. You might be thinking of joining the business and just want to be sure if you are treading on the right path. Or maybe you are already a member and just want to learn a bit more about the business.
It’s great that you are doing your research because the last thing you want to do is invest your hard-earned cash in business only for you to end up frustrated.
What is Jordan Essentials all about and can you make some good money with the business? Well, let’s find out, shall we?
- Company: Jordan Essentials
- Website: jordanessentials.com
- Founder: Nancy and Ron Bogart
Within the world of multi-level marketing, there is no shortage of companies involved with the skincare and beauty industry. Jordan Essentials is one such company.
Founded in 2000 by Nancy Boggart, the company sells beauty and skincare products through independent distributors.
Jordan Essentials emphasizes that their products are all-natural and organic. To fair, there many other companies like Younique that make the same claim about their products.
They do enjoy an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau. It’s also impressive to see that there are no complaints which go to show that they are a decent company.
Jordan Essentials are based out of Nixa, Missouri.
Jordan Essentials do have a decent range of skincare products. Here is their product range;
- Bath and Body
- Face Care and Anti Aging
- Essential Oils
- Mineral Makeup
- Spritz Your Pits & Aluminum Free Deodorant
Typically, most MLMs have products that cost way more than what you would get in the market. With Jordan Essentials the products are pretty reasonably priced.
How it works
Like most MLMs, there are 2 main ways one can get to make money. One way is by earning commissions on retail sales from products. The other way is earning commissions when you recruit others to join the business.
Number two is of course where the money is. Most people join the business through parties. You simply invite friends and family to your house, do a show and tell and if your potential recruits join the business, you will be earning commissions for as long as they remain members.
Commissions range between 25% to 35% depending on how much you sell. The more the better.
Product sales from your downlines will pay between 3 and 12%. The only way to make a substantial income is by getting as many people through the door as you can.

Pros and Cons.
Every business opportunity has the good and bad side to it that one has to come to terms with. Let’s check out the pros and cons of the Jordan Essentials business opportunity.
If there is one thing I love about Jordan Essentials is the emphasis they place on moving the product as opposed to recruiting new consultants. Most MLMs tend to push distributors to try and go on a recruiting frenzy.
I will also take their word on the quality of the products. However, as I mentioned earlier, there are many companies out there that claim to have super awesome products and that is how they justify the high costs the products go for.
I also believe if you have the right mindset and drive, you can actually succeed. Success in MLMs is however not a walk in the park as we will soon find out.
The company has also been around for a fairly long time. They do have a clean record with the BBB.org website which means they are quite credible.
The biggest drawback to all MLMs is that not much has changed in the way the business is conducted. Parties, recruiting is basically how the business operates. If you are not good at approaching people, this will not work for you.
I know they do offer you a website where customers can purchase the products through your link but how will you get people to go there? Unless you understand how website traffic works, you will simply be recruiting.
Hosting parties can be expensive. If you hold them every week and nobody is joining your team, it will mean you are losing money
The other thing is the beauty and skincare industry is flooded with hundreds of companies selling more or less similar products. It’s just a long shot trying to convince someone to buy your products and yet they can just walk up to the local store and get what they are looking for.
Is Jordan Essentials a scam?
No, not at all. Most people who brand MLMs as scams simply have no idea how they operate. As long a company has a product or service, then you can’t brand them a scam. Scams and Ponzi schemes usually have nothing to offer but false promises.
A good rule of thumb is to make sure that whatever the business is promoting is on public domain. Never join a company that promises to pay you commissions by investing your money with no product or service to show for it.
New recruits are always told to gather the names of all their friends and family, call them up and hope and trust that they will join the bandwagon.
What normally happens is once they have gone through their entire phonebook and awkwardly approached a few strangers on the streets they end up fading off. No wonder the failure rate with MLMs is so high.
According to this article on Wikipedia, over 95 percent of distributors make little to no income at all. There is always such a high devotion to the business that most people will only go with what they want to hear.
Most people in the industry will tell you not to listen to what critics are saying.
I have been involved in network marketing before. I must have contacted close to 200 people and not a single person joined my team. I can tell you, some of my friends were not that impressed.
People just dont like to be sold stuff. Its worse when the people in question are your friends and family.
Family might overlook your attempts to sell them into the business but friends…hmm. Good friends are hard to come by. You dont want to lose them by deceivingly inviting them for a meeting or party only for you to spring up the opportunity of a lifetime to them.
It doesn’t matter what people tell you. This is not a real business. When you run your own business, you work on your own terms. You decide what to sell, how to sell it and to whom. You also set your own prices. The people running the business are the people whose products you are selling, They are the ones running a business.
You, my friend, are just an overrated salesperson. If the owners of Jordan Essentials decided to wrap up the business, there goes your business.
The unfortunate thing about businesses like Jordan Essentials is people sometimes find it hard to legitimize them largely due to the deceptive tactics that distributors use to get people to join.
Are there alternatives to Jordan Essentials.
Sure, there are.
There are many places online like Swagbucks where you can make some side cash doing surveys. Another great place is Fiverr where you can upload details of the kind of jobs you can do and bid for them.
I would say one of the most effective and long term ways to make money selling products or services is through your own website. I am talking about a fully functional website that you have built from the ground up.
You don’t even need to own the products to earn commissions with a website.
Nor do you need to recruit people to your business. People need to come to you. How about you check out how I make money online without having to recruit.
No point running around chasing after people to join your opportunity and yet you can reach the billions of people who are connected on the internet today. 4.48 billion people to be precise at the time of writing this article and growing by the day.
MLMs are a waste of time. You really need to ask yourself whether you stand a chance to make money. If you feel you have what it takes then, by all means, go for it. If you don’t, just remember to keep your options open.
