Six Figure Success Academy Review – Is It Legit or Scam?

Six Figure Success Academy Review Ever have heard of Six Figure Success Academy (SFSA). Welcome to my review and let’s find out if this program is worth it or one to avoid. We live at a time where sometimes it’s really hard to tell a legit business opportunity from a scam. The last thing you want is to be lured by a program that promises the good life only for you to end up with zero.

So just what is the Six Figure Success Academy? Is it a scam or legit? Can you make some serious money?

No doubt you want some things cleared. Well, let’s find out, shall we?

  • Company Name: Six Figure Success Academy
  • Website: www.sixfiguresuccessacademy.com
  • Owner: Ty Cohen and Mike Balmaceda
  • Cost: $ 1997

As I was my research on this program I was totally blown away by the method used in training. There, not many online platforms that concentrate on video training as a marketing tool and yet video is highly effective. Right from the start I wanted to learn more.

At the time of writing this review, the program is pretty young. It was founded in June 2018 by 2 gentlemen by the names of Ty Cohen and Mike Balmaceda.

Ty and Mike
Ty and Mike

Mike used to work in IT, hated his job with a passion and eventually quit to follow his dreams of online entrepreneurship. Ty was in corporate for 9 years, tried online marketing, made a lot of mistakes but finally got his footing with SFSA.

In a nutshell, this is a program that teaches you how to create webinars for the purpose of selling products. This could be your own or product or even other people’s products. Selling other people’s products for a commission is what we call affiliate marketing.

I can tell you for a fact, there are thousands of people out there today with great products but, have little or no idea how to go about promoting or selling them. This course teaches you how to capture that market.

The training

The course teaches 10 different categories of how to go about creating videos. The videos are really short, each covering just under 10 minutes. There are however very detailed.

There are close to 50 videos covered in a 6 week period.

Here is what we have on the menu with SFSA;

  • trainingWeek 1 You get a crash course on webinars. More like an introduction to the world of video marketing
  • Week 2 – Partner with people like Bob. Here is where you learn to create an Avatar. (Imaginary friend). It’s how video personalities are able to communicate.
  • Week 3 – Create your money make – Once you understand the concept of video, begin to learn the monetization process
  • Week 4 – Preparing for maximum success – These involves setting up their own video software and the sort of hardware you might require to achieve the best results.
  • Week 5- Generating thousands of dollars on demand – That is probably easier said than done.
  • Week 6 – Optimize and scale – You learn how to split test between what is working and what is not. It a common marketing practice. The idea is to get rid of campaigns that don’t take off and invest heavily on those that do. It’s a great strategy to use when you are using paid ads

There is also a load of additional bonuses that come with course. You earn commissions when you promote the bonuses.

Pros and cons

Normally, every business opportunity has the bright and dull side that anyone involved has to come to terms with. It’s up to you to decide whether you want to remain in the game or call it a day. In my opinion, here is what I think are the two sides of the coin with the Six Figure Success Academy.

Are You Looking For a Way to Earn Passive Income

On the plus, I think it’s a great program that offers great training. Video is massive on the internet and one can rip huge. They also offer a money-back guarantee which means they do believe in their product. That inspires confidence.

I took issue with week 5 because you can’t generate money on demand. Building a business is no easy feat. If making money online can be easily automated, don’t you think everyone would be doing that

No my friend. You will have to put in a bit of work before you start seeing the money.

On the negative, it’s not unusual for programs like these to emphasize on self-promotion. After all, affiliates earn commissions when newbies join in. Which is okay. Hey, it’s business. It’s a lot harder for you to convince others to promote their products on their behalf.

Overall opinion

thumbs upThe Six Figure Success Academy is definitely a legit online training program. An entry-level marketer would have a ball with this course. The training is awesome. However, you have to ask? Is shooting webinars enough to build your online biz?

Probably not.

While Six Figure Success Academy will warm your feet into the world of video marketing, there is a lot more that goes on into the business. It’s not just about building an online business but becoming an authority in it.

To succeed in video marketing, you need to churn out lots of good high-quality videos that are niche based. There are many people making a good fortune online through the power of video.

The online world is also pretty dynamic. What is the in thing today could be gone tomorrow. One needs an ongoing continuous education.

What happens when you are done with the course. You will need to find a good niche and carry on from there. Alternatively, you can promote SFSA.

A quick course that gives you the bare basics might be a good entry point but I doubt it will carry you through in the long term.

Getting people to buy online.

All businesses online or otherwise depend on traffic to thrive. Traffic simply means visitors to your store or in the case of online businesses, website. The more visitors you get, the more profits you are likely to make. There are only 3 ways one can generate traffic to their website.

  1. Organic traffic.

Google and other search engines like bing and yahoo love content. Not just content but good high-quality content that is unique and offers value to the reader. The content must also target low competition keywords for it to stand a good chance of ranking high in search engine results. Learn how to give search engines what they love and they will heavily reward you for your efforts. That’s what becoming an authority is all about.

  2. This is option 2. Paid traffic is pretty self-explanatory. You pay to get visitors to your site. It’s sort of like advertising on TV or radio. Run the ad, the masses listen or watch it and hopefully if the ad is a success, you will have folks tripping over each other hoping to catch the wave. Bing ads are commonly used as a paid traffic marketing tool.

  3. Social media.

Social media is complicated. With social media, you need to understand who your target audience is. Don’t spam your buddies with your opportunity. It won’t look good on you. If you want to reach a wider audience, you might have to invest deeper in your pocket. Like in Facebook ads.

Generally, conversion with Facebook on the make money online niche is meager. You might want to check out Pinterest as a social media business focussed platform. It has a better conversion rate because its algorithm works like a mini search engine.

Here is the deal

Whether you are just starting in the online marketing world or already in the game, just understand that organic traffic is your best bet. You don’t need to pay for it to grow. The long term effect of organic traffic is a business that stays actively consistent. A single post or video with the right metrics can guarantee your income for years to come.

Becoming an authority in your business

signboardIn the years I have been in marketing I have come to appreciate the fact that the only way you can make money online for the long haul is by having your own website.

If you have one, that is great to keep working on it and let it grow. If you don’t then maybe it’s time you had one. With a website, you can incorporate both text and video. The sky’s the limit.

I have been building this site for some time now and it generates a consistent income.

Patience, hard work and total dedication is the way the game plays out and it’s something I would not take shortcuts with. You have to go the full yard.

It’s not easy to become an authority in online marketing but if you follow the right strategies, it’s not that difficult either. I would highly advise you to check out My Number One Recommendation. This is an online education platform that has been around for many years and continues to be updated on a daily basis.

Why I think it’s better than Six Figure Success Academy is because it offers way more for anyone going into affiliate or online marketing.

Here you learn the real deal on what it takes to become a truly successful affiliate marketer.  Best of all its 100% FREE to get started with. You also get 2 FREE websites.

  1. Thank you for the review as I had never heard of this program before. But as you said it’s relatively new so that’s probably why. But I see that the price is close to $1K for the courses which in my opinion is crazy high no matter how valuable the courses are. Paying so much money without any guarantee that you can get your money back I think will be the main weakness of this program. I don’t see many people giving away so much money when there are other way less expensive programs out there.

    • Hi Stratos. The six Figure Success Academy is actually a pretty decent program. The way most of these programs work is you make money by promoting the same program. What I love about these guys is that they let you know that there is no pressure to promote their program . You can always go out and do your own thing.

All online platforms that offer value do come at a cost. Some will cost more than others. It true the price is a little high but if one can afford it, I don’t see why not. You are getting value for your money

      Thanks for dropping in.

  2. These days there are so many online money making schemes everywhere that sometimes i just don’t know  which one to work with. I’ve lost money in the past through all these online schemes and as a result i have become overly careful about making money online.

sometimes i feel they intentionally make it difficult for most people so as to keep getting subscription fees and keeping the hope alive . Its a crazy industry out there.

    • Hi Zuchi. I know exactly what you mean. The general rule of thumb is to never spend money unless I am a hundred percent sure of what I am getting into. There are plenty of scams and semi scams, but real legit online business platforms do exist. Like my number 1 recommendation. You can try it out for free and only commit ton premium membership if you feel it’s a good fit.

Best of wishes in your endeavours and thanks for stopping by

  3. Thanks for sharing this legit program. But a quick question is this program only for the rich because the cost is on the high side. I can’t afford putting a whooping $1,997 into an online marketing training. Is there a way around this. Can two people collaborate to create a single account with them?

    • Hi Lok. I do believe yes, you can corroborate with someone when it comes to running an online biz. Of course, you have to work with someone you can trust. Online businesses are pretty easy to run once you get a foothold and the idea of collaborating might not necessarily great.

In my opinion., I would not spend so much money learning how to shoot videos or blogging. There are plenty of free resources out there. Take advantage of what you can get for free before committing to buy.

  4. The program covers one of the best area of marketing that is haunting me. If only I was good at producing quality videos for my affiliate marketing campains I would be earning far more than what I am earning today. I just opened the Six Figure Success Academy, the cost is $1,997, unfortunately, I cannot afford that as I am just a starter on the online world, but will really consider it in the long run

Thank you so much Leonard for such a great info

Don’t worry about video. You are not the only one.  I too suck at it, but I decided to grow my business through the written word. I will consider video when the time comes. btw, It’s a great way to grow your business.

  7. too bad their webinar while decent in presenting task and process, FAILS to disclose numbers or percentages that generate income. Conspicuous by absence is immediately suspect. Too Bad. Probably a valid opportunity

  8. I just listened to one of Ty Cohen’s webinars. Some useful points but (1) he announced something he called a funnel which he promoted as a really great idea he was imparting to us. What it means is that if someone is buying something from you then you offer them a chance to buy a couple of other things as well. New? How long has MacDonald’s asked, “Do you want fries with that?” How long have zoos or theme parks or other attractions led you through the gift shop before you can reach the exit? And how many other online sales sites do you see that kind of thing already?

    (2) He told a couple of people they should leave the website because this was no place for negativity or for asking how much time something would take. Um, so we can’t ask about legitimate concerns before forking out so many dollars to do his courses?

    (3) He said it was essential once starting the course that students do exactly as he says. So if there are one or two aspects we really feel uncomfortable about we’re not allowed to think for ourselves and skip that bit, and of course, we don’t know in advance what all those steps are.

    (4) Students have to agree to promote him. So we would have to agree to say nice things about him and his course no matter what we really think: that’s part of the agreement when paying all that money and doing the course. Nope, not agreeing to that before knowing what the course is like. And I’ll never find out, as I won’t be doing that course.
