What is Zurvita?
There is certainly no shortage of multi-level marketing companies in the health and wellness industry.
Zurvita is one such company. Founded in 2008 by Mark Jarvis, Tracy Jarvis, and Jay Shafer, the company sells health and nutritional products through independent distributors.
On their website, they say they are on a mission of providing a healthy lifestyle for people of all ages to enjoy a higher way of life.
They are also deeply involved in charity through Zurvita Ministries and Zurvita Giving which are organizations set up to provide aid to people and families in need.
Zurvita currently operates in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. Their headquarters are in Houston, Texas. They are currently not rated or accredited with the Better Business Bureau.
Compared to most MLMs, Zurvita has a relatively small and simple range of products that fall under nutrition, performance and transformation system. They have a total of 19 products in all. Apparently, they source raw ingredients from all over the world. The nutrients occur naturally.
Zeal: Their core product is called Zeal which is an all-in-one nutritional supplement in the form of a powder that you can add to water, juice or a shake.
The product comes in Kiwi, Watermelon, Mango, Lemon Lime, and Wild Berry flavours. Zeal also comes in vegan and non-vegan formula.
Zurvita protein: These products come in powder form with vanilla and chocolate flavours. You can add water or milk to make a nutritious meal replacement.
Zurvita transformation: This package comes with nutritional products for weight loss as well as a training package. You also get 2 other products, Zurvita Cleanse – an herbal probiotic and Zurvita Burn – a thermogentic fat burner.
How does Zurvita work?
Getting started with Zurvita is pretty straight forward. All you need to do is purchase a welcome kit that will cost you $39.95. This kit gives you a few basic products and a guide on how to get started with Zurvita.
To start making money you will need to purchase one of three packages

- Quick Start Pack: $199.95: Includes a canister and two cases of 24 single-serve bottles of Zeal.
- Builders Pack: $499: Includes five canisters and three cases of 24 single-serve bottles of Zeal.
Basically there are two main ways one can generate an income with Zurvita

Can You Make Money With Zurvita?
I believe if you have the right skill set and mindset, you can make money with this opportunity. I have personally met a few highly successful network marketers.
Making money really comes down to your own individual effort. It takes a lot of hard work. It also helps if you are good at closing sales. Unfortunately, not many people are good at that.
I haven’t used the products myself but, I am yet to see any negative reviews about them so it’s safe to assume that the products are as good as stated. In fact, most people agree that the products work well.
Zurvita claims that their products are not just unique but clinically proven. I would take that with a grain salt. Every nutrition and supplement MLM makes more or less the same claim.
What I really love about Zurvita is that they don’t push you to buy the products. You only buy what you need. Most MLMs have irritating minimum monthly cost in purchases that one has to maintain to remain active.
They also have a 30- day money-back guarantee on all their products.
Are You Looking For a Way to Earn Passive Income
Without Having to Recruit?
The biggest downside to the Zurvita business opportunity is that making money is not as easy as a lot of people are led to believe. People just don’t like being sold stuff, especially when there is a hidden motive behind it.
The other problem I see is that the health and wellness industry is saturated with these sorts of companies each claiming to have the magic touch on their products. Consumers are spoilt for choice. Companies like Amway and Herbalife sell fairly similar products.
Most people would rather go to the local store and buy the products they are looking for and probably for less the price. It’s easier and less intrusive.
Is Zurvita a Scam?
Absolutely not. People sometimes tend to get suspicious of network marketing companies because there is always a lot of emphasis on recruiting. As long as a company has a solid product or service behind it then you can’t brand it as a scam.
Pyramid and Ponzi schemes simply shuffle money around and eventually those who join in late end up losing everything. The people at the top will end up pocketing everything before the scheme falls apart.
Given the period Zurvita has been in operation, they are probably not going anywhere soon.
I was a former network marketer and aside from being a real pain to everyone I approached to join my business I spent a lot of money and never got to recruit even one person. I might have approached over 300 people. Some of them were clearly not impressed.
I had to face the facts. Was I really building a business or was simply helping some top shot make their money?
Truth be told you are not really running a business. The people running the business are the people whose products you are selling. They dictate what you sell, price and what you make for it. If you owned the business, you would have a say in that.
You also need to ask yourself whether your friends and family are worth the hustle. The other problem I saw was the cult-like devotion most people had for the business. All that talk about the business being easy and how anyone can do it is nothing but hot air.
The fact is, most people suck at selling.
According to this article on Wikipedia, over 99% of people who join MLM companies lose money. That is a big number.
If you are just joining Zurvita or thinking of joining ask yourself whether you really stand a chance at success. I hate to burst your bubble but the odds are heavily against you.
Are there better alternatives to Zurvita?
That is a resounding YES!
I would say one of the most effective and long term ways to make money way you can make money selling products or services is through your own website.
You don’t even need to own the products to earn commissions with a website.
Neither do you need to recruit people to your business. People need to come to you. how about you check out how I make money online without having to recruit.
Why run around chasing after people to join your opportunity and yet you can reach the billions of people who are connected on the internet today.
MLMs are a waste of time. You really need to ask yourself whether you stand a chance to make money. If you feel you have what it takes then, by all means, go for it. If you don’t, just remember to keep your options open.
